In 2009, Team SAM ran a couple races in NMRA Hot Street trim and a couple more in NMCA Pro Stock. Tim Eichorn and Max Gross split the driving of our ’95 Mustang. In Bradenton, Team SAM achieved a new low in 60 ft. time and E.T, going 1.20 60 ft. and 8.63. Making horsepower is what we do. Getting it to run down the track is still something we’re learning. Another SAM project engine is in Team Powerhead’s Hot Street Mustang, with Max Gross behind the wheel, had plenty of power all year. In Bowling Green, KY they set a personal best in Hot Street of 8.62 at 155 mph. We’re currently working on a new combination for Powerhead and always looking at ways to improve our engines.
